ISO26000 Primer Course |
An Energycorp Global Training Program based on ISO26000
Mindful that ISO 26000 is a voluntary guidance standard and not a management system standard, this Program is designed to nurture a corporate culture based on the universal principles of social responsibility, namely: accountability, transparency, ethical behaviour, respect for stakeholder interests, respect for the rule of law, respect for international norms of behaviour, and respect for human rights. Participants would be empowered to build such capacity and capabilities needed for building organisational structures, human resource development programs, performance monitoring and evaluation and reporting on social responsibility.
This Program addresses the following issues:
- Why should social responsibility interest and involve me and my organisation?
- How does social responsible behaviour add value to our corporate reputation and competitive advantage?
- What is the scope and rationale of ISO 26000?
- How do I engage our stakeholders in similar socially responsible behaviour?
- Understanding the following core issues of social responsibility of Governance, Environment, Human Rights, Labour Practices, Fair Operating Practices, Consumer Issues, Community Involvement and Communication.
- Understanding the guidance of ISO 26000.
